The effect of Demonetisation in India has affected all business sectors along with the citizens in the last few days. The auto sector too has faced the heat in wake of people not having disposable liquidity and hence some companies have already started adopting cashless payments. The latest to join the bandwagon is Suzuki Motorcycle India. The company is now offering a cashless scheme on all its products and has partnered with HDFC and Paytm to offer these schemes. The customers can easily book the two-wheeler by paying Rs 20,000 through Paytm, while the remaining amount can be financed. Along with this, the customer can also avail a cashback of Rs 3,000 from Paytm at the time of delivery of the vehicle.
The HDFC bank scheme states that Government employees or HDFC account holders can avail 100 percent finance on Suzuki two-wheelers. Customers who want to buy Suzuki products and have an income proof but don't have account with HDFC can also avail the scheme with low down payment scheme with 90 percent finance from the bank.
Speaking of the partnership with HDFC Bank, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL, said: “We aim to limit the impact of demonetisation by providing our customers a convenient purchase alternative that is not dependent on availability of cash in hand. We will continue to stand with our patrons and ensure a delightful customer experience every time they visit our outlets.”
