Ducati has taken the wraps off its newest addition to the Scrambler line up, called the Scrambler Hashtag. The unique thing about the Ducati Scrambler Hashtag is that it will be sold via the online route. However, it will not be purely online as you must have imagined till now. In order to purchase the motorcycle, the customer first has to buy a voucher that will cost him 500 Euros. The said voucher need to be taken to the customer's nearest Ducati dealership. At the outlet, the final delivery date of the motorcycle will be given after the customer completes the total payment of 6990 Euros. The most prominent highlight of the new Ducati Scrambler Hashtag is its all black paint scheme that differentiates it from rest of its family members. The handlebar, mudguard and fuel tank, all have been painted in black, giving the bike its own character. The seat on the new Ducati Scrambler Hashtag has been borrowed from the Scrambler Desert Sled.
In terms of powertrain, the new Ducati Scrambler Hashtag sources its power from a 399cc engine, the same unit that runs the Scrambler Sixty2. The fuel injected mill develops a maximum power output of 41 hp along with a peak torque of 36 Nm. The suspension system of the new Scrambler Hashtag gets conventional telescopic forks up front along with a monoshock at the rear. For braking, the Ducati Scrambler Hashtag has been assisted with a 320mm disc brake at the front along with a 245mm disc unit at the rear.
One benefit of buying the Ducati Scrambler Hashtag is that you will get 20% discount on the official Scrambler apparel and accessories. The new Ducati Hashtag went on sale starting 19th February. The motorcycle will be on sale Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy and France. As far as India launch is concerned, Ducati might bring the new Scrambler Hashtag here in the coming months.
