The first model of MV Agusta's Reparto Veicoli Speciali (RVS), the Italian brand's new special projects division, has been introduced. The mean looking scrambler has been named simply RVS #1. The motorcycle is completely hand-assembled, and was built with CRC (Castiglioni Research Center) - dedicated to creating special bikes. The RVS #1 is based on the Dragster 800. MV Agusta have said RVS #1 is a limited edition and "One man, One bike". This could very well be a one-off.
The motorcycle truely is special with its built, fit and finish, design and equipment. It is also the most powerful three-cylinder MV Agusta, with an impressive 150 hp from the 800cc engine. The scrambler treatment given to it has helped reduce weight by eight kilograms to 160 kg. It has been fitted with a titanium exhaust developed specifically for it.
It gets a steel frame that is finished with new aviation grade aluminium plates. Also, there are titanium plates mounted within the tank. The seat has stitched honeycomb. The RVS #1 gets an adaptive head light, which means the LED clusters turn on and off according to the speed and lean.
The RVS #1 has been given customised Kineo spoke wheels mounted with Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres. MV Agusta says the motorcycle will deliver outstanding thermo-dynamic efficiency with supersport performance.
In an exclusive kit supplied to RVS#1 customers, the bike will come fitted with SC-Project silencer. Each RSV #1 unit will carry a titanium plate certifying the serial number.
