MV Agusta has launched the limited edition – F3 800 RC in India priced at Rs 19.73 lakh, ex-showroom, Pune. Globally, this limited edition will have only 250 units, out of which, 9 units of the motorcycle will make way to India. Booking for the limited edition model is open, while the delivery is expected to begin by the end of October 2016. The F3 800 RC is the last model to be produced under AMG moniker and is autographed by F3 RC race riders - Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zanetti, have a limited edition serial number and ID plaque.
Powering the limited edition model is a 798cc three-cylinder, DOHC engine that generates a massive 148 hp of power at 13,000 rpm and 88 Nm of torque at 10,600 rpm. End result is a blistering top speed of 269km/h! The bike also features 8 level traction control system with 4 riding modes. All the power sits on a steel tubular trellis frame with Marzocchi upside down forks up front and Sachs monoshock with single-sided swingarm at the rear.
In order to stop this middle-weight in a crisp manner, the MV Agusta F3 800 RC gets dual-floating 320 mm front discs and 220 mm rear disc brake setup. Tyres on it are 120/70/17 section front and 180/55/17 section rear. And just like the race-spec models, the MV Agusta comes with dual tone red and white finish. Nice we say!
