Yamaha enters the 250cc segment with the FZ25 at Rs 1.19 lakh

India Yamaha Motor launches FZ250 in India and first from Yamaha, LED headlamp and LED tail lamps

After being absent from a segment popular with a young audience, Yamaha launched its much-awaited FZ25 in the country today. The new offering from the Japanese motorcycle maker will be powered by a 249 cc, single cylinder, fuel-injected engine which will be BS-IV emission norm compliant. The motor is mated to a 5-speed transmission and will produce 20 hp of power and 20 Nm of torque.Yamaha FZ25  will compete with the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and KTM Duke 200. The motorcycle travels on a MRF Zapper tyres and gets a LCD instrument cluster.
