Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has added more colour options to the Honda Hornet 160R. The new Honda Hornet 160R is now available in two new colours, Athletic Blue Metallic and Sports Red along with the existing Striking Green as well as Mars Orange colour options. The Honda Hornet is priced at Rs 82,095 for the base version and Rs 86,595 for the top variant which comes with the company's Combi Brake System with Equalizer.
Both the variants are now compliant with BSIV (Bharat Stage) emissions and AHO (Automatic headlamp On) is offered as a standard safety feature. The on-road price in Delhi for the base variant is Rs 94,124 and Rs 96,283 for the CBS twin and it is available for sale across all Honda dealerships in the country.
The mechanical update has witnessed a drop in power 0.62 hp from the 162.71 cc engine. It now produces 15.04 hp of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14.76 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.The premium motorcycle has also shed weight by around 2 kg and the overall weight of the motorcycle is 138 kg for the standard variant and 140 kg for the CBS version.
Like the BSIII version, the updated Honda Hornet 160R also features full digital meter, HET (Honda Eco Technology) for improved fuel efficiency, body graphics and an 'X'-shaped tail lamp. The top-end version gets dual petal disc brakes and 5-spoke split alloy wheels.
