DSK Benelli first launched the non-ABS variant of its TNT 300 in September 2015 and with the growing popularity especially among the youth, the company has now introduced an ABS version of TNT 300 confirms the dealers. The ABS version is available at an on-road price of Rs 3.93 lakh, Delhi. The dealerships across the country have commenced the bookings of the new variant at an amount of Rs 15,000 and the same will be delivered in a week. DSK Benelli TNT 300 is powered by a 300cc engine that produces a power of 37 hp and 26.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle comes with telescopic forks at the front and mono shock absorber at the rear. Stopping power comes with a dual disc at front and a single disc at the rear. Last year the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways issued a notification to update two-wheelers above 125cc with ABS( anti-lock braking system) or CBS( combined brake system (CBS). This move by the Indian Government will help in making lesser accidents on the Indian Roads and will improve the safety of the riders.
In addition, DSK Benelli is also planning to expand its product portfolio in India and will launch two new motorcycles this year. The company will launch Leoncino Scrambler & TRK502 and might showcase a new 300-400cc motorcycle at the 2018 Auto Expo. While the details of the new motorcycles is yet to be revealed, it is expected that it will come with a single-cylinder engine and could use Trellis Frame. The new motorcycle will be manufactured in India.
