Bajaj Platina & CT100 range extended, gets new variants

Bajaj Auto has added a new base variant on Bajaj Platina and a new top variant on Bajaj CT100 entry-level commuter motorcycles.

Pune based motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Auto has introduced new variants on its entry-level Bajaj CT100 and Bajaj Platina commuter motorcycles. Strengthening its portfolio, Bajaj Auto has introduced an entry-level variant on Bajaj Platina called the ‘ES Spoke’. The variant features spoked wheels instead of alloys. Bajaj Platina ES Spoke is available in two-variants and the price starts at Rs 42,650 (Ex-Delhi). There are no mechanical changes on the Bajaj Platina and continues to be powered by the same 102 cc engine that sheds out a power of 8.1 bhp and 8.6 Nm of torque. The company had earlier claimed that this motorcycle gives 20% less jerks while riding than the competition. Bajaj had introduced the ‘ComforTech’ on its Platina which allowed it to get a longer front & rear suspension, rubber footpads and softer seats.

Bajaj CT100 now gets a new top variant in the form of CT100 ES Alloy  and is priced at Rs 41,997 (Ex-Delhi). Bajaj CT100 commuter motorcycle is the largest selling two-wheeler for the company and the prices of the motorcycle starts at Rs 35,181 (Ex-Delhi). The new variant now adds alloy wheels to CT100 and also gets the option of electric starter. The entry-level motorcycle is powered by a 99.3 cc engine that makes 8 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
