TVS Motor Company has launched the 2018 edition of its popular 110cc commuter Victor at a price of Rs 55,890 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The most prominent change in the new 2018 TVS Victor is the new matte colour scheme. The matte shade of the motorcycle is now available at the company's dealerships across the country in two colour options that go by the name matte Silver with red and matte Blue with white. Besides this, the new 2018 TVS Victor comes with chrome detailing on the visor and it also gets a new dual tone seat. The company has given a couple of updates to the new TVS Victor in past and the addition of matte shades is offered for the first time. Mechanically, 2018 TVS Victor continues to get its power from the same 109cc engine that runs the outgoing model. The carbureted motor is good for developing respective power and torque outputs of 9 hp and 9.4 Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a four-speed transmission system. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 72 kmpl with the TVS Victor.
The suspension system of the TVS Victor comprises of conventional telescopic up front along with twin spring shock absorbers at the rear. The instrument cluster of the bike carries the same digital analog layout and offers a tachometer, which is a segment first feature. Another highlight is the hazard lamps that is not seen on any other motorcycle in this segment.
The new 2018 TVS Victor is available with a front disc brake and a variant in black colour with yellow graphics and red with gold graphics is also available at the dealerships. The 2018 TVS Victor challenges the likes of new Hero Passion XPro and the upcoming Bajaj Discover 110 that is set to be launched in India on 10th January.
