TVS Creon electric scooter at Auto Expo 2018
TVS Creon electric scooter concept has been unveiled at Auto Expo 2018. The all-new TVS Creon is a performance oriented, electric scooter concept that has been designed keeping in mind the global dream for a green future. The new TVS Creon gets a next-generation electric motor that accelerates this scooter from 0 - 60 kmph in under 5.1 seconds. With this, the scooter gets a range of 80 km. The battery can be charged to 80% within 60 minutes of charge. The new TVS Creon is powered by 3 Li-ion batteries that are capable of delivering 12 kW of instantaneous power. The scooter concept is equipped with a TFT Screen that displays speedometer, battery charge and, health status, tachometer, trip meter and odometer. The vehicle comes with a host of features that include cloud connectivity, 3 custom riding modes, regenerative braking, park assist, safety, anti-theft, GPS & navigation, and geo-fencing.
TVS Zeppelin power cruiser at Auto Expo 2018
The new TVS Zeppelin power cruiser that has been displayed at the Auto Expo 2018 is assisted with lightweight tubeless spoke wheels, 41 mm Upside down forks up front and also a monoshock at the rear. An anti-lock braking system (ABS) is being offered with the motorcycle. The new TVS Zeppelin performance cruiser motorcycle gets its power from a 220cc engine that is mated to the company's patented Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). The ISG technology gets an e-boost option that starts up the bike faster by offering it a boost. A 1200W regenerative assist motor coupled to a 48V Li-ION battery has also been equipped on the motorcycle that further adds to its performance.
Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX at Auto Expo 2018
Kawasaki has launched the Ninja H2 SX sports tourer in India at a price of Rs 21.8 lakh. The company has also launched the more premium version of the Ninja H2 SX and it has been priced at Rs 26.8 lakh (ex-showroom). Powering the motorcycle is the same 998cc, inline four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed transmission system. The bike shares its cycle parts with the Ninja H2. The new Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX weighs about 18 kgs more than the standard Ninja H2.
Yamaha Motoroid at Auto Expo 2018
Yamaha has showcased a Motoroid self-balancing two-wheeler at Auto Expo 2018. The company's official has also given a demonstration of the vehicle in front of the audience. Yamaha's Motoroid comes equipped with artificial intelligence along with autonomous technology. The smart vehicle senses its own centre of gravity automatically and hence, remains upright. The company's vehicle recognises its riders action and moves ahead in order to meet its owner with HMI.
Hero XPulse 200 at Auto Expo 2018
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the XPulse 200 adventure bike at Auto Expo 2018. The motorcycle was first showcased as a concept model at the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy last year. Powering the bike is a 200cc, air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed transmission system that churns out 18.4 hp of power and 17.1 Nm of torque. The Hero XPulse 200 gets features like LED headlamp, long travel suspension, fully digital instrument cluster and a 21-inch front wheel. The motorcycle gets a USB charging provision as well.
