Cleveland CycleWerks today announced its arrival in India during the 2018 Auto Expo. The American brand introduced two of its motorcycles - Ace and Misfit. The company says that the two existing Cleveland motorcycles will have various design options in the India market. While the Cleveland Ace will come in three variants - Ace Deluxe, Ace Scrambler and Ace Cafe, the Cleveland Misfit will come in two variants - Misfit and Gen II Misfit. Cleveland CycleWerks aims to target the young and middle-class in India. The company is present in 23 countries across the world and is now entering India in collaboration with Laish Madison Motor Werks Private Limited.
Cleveland Ace range of motorcycles will come powered by a 229 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine that produces 15.4 hp and 16 Nm of torque. The Ace Deluxe and Ace Cafe motorcycles will come with aluminium wheels, inverted forks up front and twin hydraulic shock absorbers at the back.
Cleveland Gen II Misfit has been designed on the lines of the original Misfit with a renewed styling. The Misfit motorcycle range will also be powered by the same 229 cc engine that puts out 15.4 hp and 16 Nm of torque. The Gen II Misfit comes with a single 320 mm disc up front and a 220 mm disc at the back, and is fitted with gold finish inverted forks.
