Betting big on the growing scooter market, Chennai-based TVS Motor Company has added one more variant to its Scooty brand with the launch of the Scooty Zest on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters, Venu Srinivasan, chairman and managing director, TVS Motor Company, said the scooter segment, especially targeted at womenfolk, has been growing significantly.

sell 10,000 units in the
first month, Venu Srinivasan said.
In order to cash in on the growing scootermarket, TVS Motor has launched Scooty Zest, a 110cc scooter priced at Rs 42,300 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). This product is aimed at women who like to have independence," Srinivasan said.
