Showers bring relief from sultry weather in Delhi

Light rains brought some respite from sultry weather conditions in the national capital even as humidity level touched a high of 75 per cent.

According to the MeT Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius, one notches above normal, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, also one notches above normal.

The city also received 0.9 mm rainfall in the past nine hours, ending at 5.30 PM.

Humidity level in the city oscillated between 47 per cent and 75 per cent.

The MeT department has predicted that there will be partly cloudy sky tomorrow with possibility of very light rain and thundershowers in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperature would be around 38 and 29 degrees Celsius respectively.

The maximum temperature registered yesterday was at 38.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius.
