The company had reported net loss of Rs 10.79 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
Pantaloons' net sales during the quarter under review were at Rs 481.22 crore, an increase of 10.41 per cent as against Rs 435.81 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Other income in the quarter stood at Rs 1 crore as against Rs 23.35 crore reported in the same quarter last year.
Overall expenses in the quarter were at Rs 504.08 crore, up 17.05 per cent compared with Rs 430.63 crore in the same period last year.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 103.25, up 0.15 per cent at the end of the day's trade on the BSE.
