FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique says the team will be able to cover the absence of new signing Luis Suarez in the early part of the upcoming season as he serves his biting ban from the World Cup.

Luis Enrique says, ''It's bad that he's not with us from the start, but it's not a tragedy. Somebody else will play in his place.''

The rookie Barcelona coach doesn't expect Suarez's arrival to disrupt an attacking system that also features Lionel Messi and Neymar, saying: ''The more top players you have the better.''

Luis Enrique says the club is awaiting a decision from Xavi Hernandez on his future, while the Catalans also revealed they are awaiting Valencia's decision on its transfer bid for French defender Jeremy Mathieu.
