Sharma and YRF have decided to mutually part ways. The film will now go on floor without him.
With his exit, Sharmas three-film deal with the company and his promotion through YRFs Talent Management Wing has also been dissolved.
Ashish Patil, Business & Creative Head, Youth Films, Talent Management & Brand Partnerships at Yash Raj Films, however, stated, There was no particular reason but we decided mutually, to take a break from this one. It had nothing to do with his not being happy with the script or anything of that sort but more in the larger interest of the project. Ours was a very peaceful and amicable parting. In fact we may do something else by the year-end. As for the replacement, we shall be announcing it soon.
