The foundation stone was laid by Siddaramaiah ,Chief Minister of Karnataka and S R Patil, Minister for IT and Biotechnology, Science and Technology, Planning and Statistics.

Intel India has been involved across servers, PCs like all-in-ones, 2- in- 1s, smartphones, tablets and internet of things. The core competencies of Intel India include CPU, system-on-a chip, platform, software and graphics. Intels upcoming facility will be a global center of excellence for chip design.
