As part of the deal, Infosys will deploy managed services for the Japanese carmaker's operational areas in Europe, such as supply chain, manufacturing, sales, after-sales and customer service and corporate functions.

Prior to this deal, Infosys had been a key partner of Toyota Motor Europe for projects and delivery services in IT transformation and connected car.

In the auto space, last year, Infosys announced expansion of its US operations with a new 125-seater delivery centre in Wisconsin to support local clients such as motorcycle maker Harley Davidson. Infosys said its five-year contract with Harley Davidson was the main reason for choosing Milwaukee.
