We are not large enough and my own views are that consolidation is necessary. Not only for SBI but for the banking industry as a whole. There should be at least 3-4 banks of the size of this country and maybe 1-2 which as big or five times the size Mr. Om Prakash Bhatt, Chairman of SBI Group.

Right now, banks are awash with funds and I dont see interest rates moving up immediately.
