IIFM to train IndusInd employees

Hinduja Group-promoted IndusInd Bank on Thursday signed an agreement with International Institute of Financial Markets (IIFM) to train bank employees in economic and financial systems.

The Deal (drop everything and learn) initiative... would provide weekly training on current economic and financial systems, the IIFM said in a statement.

The initiative, it added, would run across all the branches of the bank and help IndusInd employees to effectively serve its large customer base.

Deal is a pan-India learning initiative aimed at enhancing business, managerial and leadership skills of the banks employees, IndusInd Bank head, HR, Zubin Mody said.

IndusInd Bank has 20 lakh customers, with a network of 180 branches, 402 ATMs spread across 147 geographical locations in 28 states and Union territories as on September 30, 2009.

The bank also operates representative offices in Dubai and London.
