iGate bags $80-mn deal from Orange Switzerland

iGate, the US headquartered IT services company with a large presence in India, has bagged a five-year contract from Orange Communications (Orange Switzerland) valued at $80 million along with a possible one-year extension, according to a release.

Under the deal, iGate will manage all enterprise systems, including ERP, business intelligence, infrastructure and data network and telephony services of Orange Switzerland.

iGate will also provide infra as a service for Orange Switzerland and specific partners as well as a multilingual service desk to monitor and report all vendor performance metrics. The data centre is operated through Equinix in Zurich where iGate also has contracts with other Swiss companies.
