Huracan or hurricane

Lamborghinis newest car, the Huracan, is slated to be launched in India on September 22. To be priced about R3.5 crore, the Huracan will replace the ageing Gallardo in the country. It will be powered by a 5.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V10 engine, producing a whopping power of 610 bhp, which takes this supercar from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds, finally touching a top speed of 325 kmph. Further, the engine will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, a first for Lamborghini. Do we have roads for such a car in India No. Ideally, such supercars should be experienced on a track. Moreover, with no Formula One race happening in India in the near future, perhaps the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) should increasingly welcome such supercars. So, is the Huracan a one-of-a-kind machine Not exactly, it faces competition from cars such as Ferrari 458, Porsche 911, Audi R8 V10+ & Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
