Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to go all out to fulfil housing needs

In a bid to propel PM Narendra Modis plan to ensure housing for all by 2022, FM Arun Jaitley, while talking at a realtors conclave organised by National Real Estate Development Council in Mumbai on Wednesday, said his ministry will take into consideration all possible steps to fulfil this agenda. Urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu, minister of communication and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad, civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, transport minister Nitin Gadkari, labour & employment minister Narendra Singh Tomar, minister of state commerce & industry Nirmala Sitharaman, among others, also participated.

The two-day conclave will debate on targeting housing surplus within eight years by creating 90 million dwellings units and steps to meet capital inflow of $2 billion for housing alone.
