In a letter to Chouhan, he claimed that there was a link to the chief minister's residence in the entire episode.
Singh said that if the call records of the Director of the Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) of the state was examined, it will be found that "several calls" were made to the chief minister's residence during the test.

He demanded that "fraudulent" admissions in MBBS course be scrapped and those, who are in the waiting list, should be accommodated.
Singh said that the issue of similar fraudulent admissions in the neighbouring Chhattisgarh had been referred to CBI by the state government.
