The RP Sanjiv Goenka Group is looking to shift focus from revenue to bottomline, assets, debt-to-equity ratio and cash surpluses, for which the groups flagship company, CESC, needs to ensure constant cash flows.
Goenka, after CESCs 36th annual general meeting, told reporters that there were big opportunities emerging in the distribution segment. We have engaged BCG to do a study on which city will be good. Where should we go to bid for distribution licenses, he said.
The study aims at finding out which segment of the power business we should go now, growth projections in various segments of power business including solar and hydro and how to be a preferred customers supplier by enhancing customer services, Goenka said.
