The CAG has sought reversal of over R100 crore inadmissible expenditure by GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL), saying it was collected and kept in an escrow account by the airport operator. Charging of inadmissible expenditure of R100.40 crore to passenger service fee fund by the operator was irregular and needed to be reversed early, the CAG said in a report tabled in Parliament. It said the amounts, collected in 10-11 and 11-12, were kept in an escrow account.
