"This move exposes true colours of AAP. On the one hand, it is accusing private discoms in public of overcharging and on the other, it gave away Rs 323 crore to it (Reliance) and that too from funds which was not meant for the discoms but for the municipal corporations of Delhi," Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party President Vijay Goel said.
"This money was to be spent by all the three municipal corporations for welfare of people. But former CM Arvind Kejriwal was more bothered about filling coffers of Reliance," he alleged.
The Bharatiya Janata Party said it has passed a resolution in its meeting condemning this move of the AAP government.
Stating that Delhi assembly elections should be held at the earliest, he said: "The Bharatiya Janata Party cadres are geared up to expose AAP-Congress alliance which has left people in lurch. None of them had the mandate, yet they formed the government which fell under the burden of its own contradictions.
"People of Delhi will teach a lesson to these two parties for disrespecting the wishes of Delhiites," Goel said.
