Around 16,000 Anganwadi workers will be recruited in Haryana within a month and some 800 new Anganwadi Centres will be set up, women and child development minister Geeta Bhukkal said on Sunday. Haryana was the first state in the country which was providing maximum facilities to Anganwadi workers, she told. Instead of cooked grams, tiny-tots in the Anganwadi Centres would now be provided paranthas in the breakfast, she said. Nearly 16,000 Anganwadi workers would be recruited within a month, she added.
